Communication and Record Keeping
This training course provides an awareness of good Communication and Record Keeping and is designed for Residential and Domiciliary care workers including: Carers, Supervisors, and Managers working with older people; or vulnerable adults, in their own home or in care homes and care workers undertaking the Skills for Care Common Induction Standards or NVQs in Health and Social Care.
This course includes:
- Communication models
- Verbal and non verbal techniques including questioning & active listening
- Communication with service users who are confused or suffering from sensory loss
- Legislation and best practice in record keeping
Course costs: £350 per half day (3hr course) or £500 per 2 half day (2 x 3hr course. These must be delivered on the same day)
Course maximum 12 candidates.
